Clive Hailstone joins Comstor as Sales Director UK and Ireland

Cirencester, UK, 11 September 2007--Westcon Group, Inc., the leading specialty distributor in networking, convergence, security, and mobility, announced that its subsidiary Comstor UK has appointed Clive Hailstone as Sales Director for the UK and Ireland. Hailstone joins the business following Simon Thompson’s appointment as European Director of Services for Westcon Group.

Hailstone brings a wealth of experience to the position from both a distribution and IT perspective, having spent time at Ingram Micro as Head of Networking Services, as well as other executive positions at Computer 2000 and most recently as Sales Director at AV distributor Steljes.

Jon Pritchard, vice president of Comstor Europe commented on the appointment: “Clive is a seasoned professional who possesses both the vision and knowledge required to grow our expanding and highly successful Cisco business. His focus and experience in building strong relationships with channel partners and vendors is very evident; this will be a key aspect to his responsibilities moving forward.”
