Comstor France Recognized as Cisco Distribution Partner of the Year

Suresnes, France, April 5, 2007 - Westcon Group, Inc., the world’s leading specialty distributor in networking, security, mobility and convergence, announced that its Comstor practice has won Cisco’s Distribution Partner of the Year award in France for both country and geography. In addition, Comstor Europe has won Cisco’s Worldwide Channels Award for Market Acceleration for is dedicated programmes OneVoice and OneDefense. The awards were accepted by Jon Pritchard, vice president of Comstor Europe at the Cisco Partner Summit earlier this week in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Comstor’s technology-focused solutions programs, including OneVoice and OneDefense, have been adopted by hundreds of resellers all across Europe since their inception over two years ago. Comstor France has had particular success in training and preparing its reseller base, especially in the area of network security where the distributor held a series of recurring in-person trainings.
