AEP Series K Hardware Security ModuleSeries K product image

The AEP K1200/K300 Series K Hardware Security Module (HSM) offers the next generation security platform for managing cryptographic keys and protecting sensitive applications. It is a hardware security module designed for managing mission critical applications that demand maximum security. It is ideally suited for companies that need secure key management for certification authorities, registration authorities, OCSP responders, smart card issuers, web servers and other applications.

The K1200/K300 allows the FIPS-certified Security Officer and authorized user to generate, store and use high quality keys within a tamper reactive, Ethernet-connected HSM.

The K1200/K300 is the most comprehensive cryptographic HSM of its class for secure key management offering public key infrastructure (PKI) administrators the highest levels of assurance and performance. AEP Networks' revolutionary ACCE technology, at the heart of K1200/K300, guarantees the safety and integrity of critical key material.

AEP 1200/K300 is a state of the art device. It offers hardware key generation, storage, usage and management of key material, which is contained in a FIPS 140-2, Level 4 certified crypto module – ACCE (Advanced Configurable Cryptographic Environment).

Each K1200/K300 provides load balanced, fail safe, network accessible, FIPS 140-2 level 4 certified cryptographic services (e.g. hardware random seed based key generation, signing, encryption) within an automatic tamper reactive boundary.

AEP Series T Edge Device

The need to integrate multiple data sources does not mandate a complex and proliferated network infrastructure that is unwieldy and difficult to support.

The Series T Edge range of modular products enables effective communication between sites in an enterprise network using a single telecommunications platform that aggregates and transmits two-way voice/data over almost any bearer (radio, satellite or terrestrial).

That means that even remote sites on the edge of a customer network can use the same equipment and receive the same services as other sites in the network.  Staff at mobile, regional and remotely located sites can access the same toll quality voice and data communication channels as their headquarter-based colleagues. A variety of data streams (voice - analog and digital, TCP/IP, legacy traffic such as X.25) can be carried over the Edge platforms, even latency sensitive traffic.  Also, a single vadOS operating system, optimized for voice and data throughput, ensures maximum network scalability and control.

The Series T Edge family of single platform solutions includes modular processors that are easily rack or desk mounted.  Selecting the best product depends on the type and number of voice and data traffic ports required, as well as site installation requirements (rack mounted, desktop or portable).

AEP Series V Multi Purpose Platform

The Series V Multi Purpose Platform is a "mid range" rack-mount chassis based platform that provides a robust, reliable and highly supportable solution to the demand for multi-service communications and vastly increased bandwidth efficiency.

Enabling effective communication between sites in an enterprise network using a single telecommunications platform that aggregates and transmit two-way voice/data over almost any bearer (radio, satellite or terrestrial).

This means that even remote sites on the edge of a customer network can use the same equipment and receive the same services as other sites in the network.  Staff at regional branch offices and remotely located sites can access the same toll quality voice and data communication channels as their headquarter-based colleagues.

A variety of data streams (voice - analogue & digital, TCP/IP, legacy traffic such as X.25) can be carried over the Series V platforms, even latency sensitive traffic. Also, a single vadOS operating system, optimised for voice and data throughput, ensures maximum network scalability and control.

AEP Series L MegaPAC V-IX

The megaPAC V-IX platform is a new generation of product, which is able to leverage high-end processors while protecting the skills our customers have in the vadOS operating system from the previous generation of the megaPAC product. With the addition of a user-friendly interface, all the essential strengths of the vadOS operating system are preserved.

The architecture features a 16-slot high speed cPCI BUS based on the PICMG 2.16 standard. All modules are hot swap with an option for a second standby/failover CPU. Each megaPAC V-IX chassis supports up to 96 serial ports (MK II) at speeds of 2Mbps and dual Gigabit Ethernet interfaces.

AEP Series M MWatch

MWatch is an SNMP software-based Network Management Application designed and developed by AEP Networks. Running on Microsoft Windows, it allows network administrators to monitor the complete network, and gather useful information about the condition and status of any SNMP-compatible devices that have been deployed on a network.

The application is an extremely powerful tool that creates network maps, providing graphical views of the network and its configuration. It can regularly poll each piece of equipment in the network, or receive alarms or ‘traps’, and provides a status on each element, right down to the port level. In addition, users are able to access and reconfigure AEP Series T Edge and Series V Core equipment remotely.

MWatch is based on client server Architecture and can be deployed as a standalone system or distributed across a number of workstations communicating with a server. Server databases can be supported on Windows or Unix operating systems. MWatch also supports a hierarchical “manager of managers” function where a number of servers need to be deployed for managing large networks.
