For that reason, they are promoting an attractive refresh programme with irresistible pricing to help upgrade and replace old platforms that are nearing their end of support. The Blue Coat Hardware Refresh Program offers your customers tremendous value on the latest Blue Coat models (when purchased with a BlueTouch support contract), bringing you fresh cross-selling and upgrade opportunities.

 

Overview

The programme now applies to the PacketShaper PS 9500 product only.

New part codes have been created as part of the hardware refresh programme, these all end in "-UP"

This programme is for the refresh of customers with up to 10 units only

Resellers will need to sign up officially for the programme - it is a legal requirement

Order Requirements

 

To be eligible for the upgrade programme the following applies:


  • All hardware must currently be supported, however credit will not be given on any term outstanding on existing support contracts
  • All replacement serial numbers must be supplied on any POs
  • Everything must be deal registered (normal additional discounts apply to resellers)
  • First year support must be ordered
  • A "Letter of Discontinuance" must be signed by the end user and must accompany your PO (CLICK HERE To Download)
  • Old legacy units must be turned off and returned to Blue Coat within 30 days of receipt of the replacement unit - Blue Coat are paying for any returns
  • All stock will be ordered back to back from Blue Coat
