Conducting a network performance assessment is an invaluable services offering in which an on-site evaluation and analysis of a customer's network traffic is conducted with the goal of optimizing application performance and enabling deeper visibility into bandwidth consumption, utilization inefficiencies, and security concerns.
By offering a network performance assessment, Blue Coat partners can accurately identify where network bandwidth constrictions and business-critical application performance problems exist, discover what is really running on the network, and greatly improve their end users' experience.
The assessment is conducted over a few days' time on a prodcution network with typical load, congestion and diveresity of traffic. During the network assessment, a Blue Coat PacketShaper appliance is installed oon teh production network, either inline or in watch mode. In this manner, the PacketShpaer device automatically discovers, classifies and measures network applications without interfering with network operations.
Assessments enable to the partner to grow services margins and competitive advantage by offering scalable, interoperable, and ease-of-use solutions.
