VIPER (Voice over IP Exploitation Research) is a UC vulnerability assessment service offered by Sipera through qualified channel partners that identifies potential threats and issues in a customer’s UC infrastructure. This on-going research provides input into the UC-Sec threat mitigation engine.
Customers worldwide use Sipera not only to protect their core IPT infrastructure and to deploy UC applications but also to demonstrate compliance with governmental and regulatory requirements such as GLBA, SOX, PCI DSS, HIPAA, FDIC. Sipera complements traditional data firewall technologies and can either be used as a Session Border Controller (SBC) or in tandem with an SBC. Sipera supports from 10s to thousands of users in finance, retail, telcos and other organisations adopting SIP-trunking.
